Motion Designer & Video Editor

We're on the hunt for a Motion Designer & Video Editor to be the creative force behind our video content! You will be crafting eye-catching, on-brand videos for our social media, blogs, ads, and campaigns. From designing scroll-stopping animations to creating polished, production-ready assets, you’ll be at the heart of our visual storytelling. Plus, you’ll team up with our product crew to create in-app animations that bring our brand to life.
What you’ll do:
- Create compelling animated visuals for a range of marketing channels, including social media, blogs, paid advertising, and campaigns, ensuring production-ready assets that enhance the brand and engage customers, managing rapid development cycles from initial concept to final execution while maintaining a consistent brand identity
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and business, to ensure design consistency and alignment with brand objectives
- Continuously refine designs based on feedback and data insights, proactively guiding creative directions. Participate in brainstorming session that aim to improve and elevate the brand guidelines
- Help update and maintain the company content gallery
- Create video materials for the company that helps us present our vision and mission at conferences or within company presentations
You have:
- 6+ years video production, editing, and motion design, including managing workflows and adhering to brand visual guidelines
- A strong portfolio showcasing a deep understanding of aesthetics and design principles while effectively conveying intended messages
- Expertise in fundamental design principles, including typography, color theory, composition, and branding, with the ability to articulate design thinking and rationale
- Ability to convey brand messaging through short, impactful video formats tailored for engagement on social media platforms
- Expertise in key social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, Twitter), with a solid understanding of evolving formats, trends, filters and best practices for each
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to articulate and defend design choices in complex scenarios.
- Knowledge of AI & Editing Tools for video and animation production
- Proficiency in design tools including Figma, Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, After Effects, Premier Pro), and Google Workspace
- Preferred background: content creator editor, content creator
